How long will it take you to get up to speed on a new Framework? As long as the answer is an unknown quantity possibly equaling infinite, you’re unlikely to take that leap. Aimed at beginners who may have never used a framework before, this talk’s goal is to equip you with all the information and understanding you need to skip the confusion and jump into developing with the Symfony2 framework. This talk will cover setting up a new project, understanding the file structure, the Routing->Controller->Template relationship, adding bundles, and the basics of implementing Commands and Services.
