Accepting online payments is key to the success of online service and product websites, but unless you're sending customers offsite using a service like PayPal or 2Checkout, your site and how you manage payments needs to be PCI compliant (even when using services such as Stripe or Square). Compliancy goes far beyond what information you collect and how you can store it into the very versions of Linux, PHP, and SSL that are allowed. In this talk we'll take a look at how to properly handle credit card payments and ensure your architecture is PCI compliant.
