Regular expressions are used for everything from validation, to sanitization, to recognizing and pulling out phone numbers, addresses, or emails. Nearly every app makes (or should be making) use of Regex, but interpreting and creating expressions can seem overly complicated (and that's before we get into look aheads or look behinds) and confusing for developers.
In this session we'll take a look at how to use Regex, tools for validating your expressions (before they go into production), and break down some of the more common patterns.
